well, it can transpire anytime, albeit conventionally during winter. Winter is conventionally when snow falls.
what is the normal amount of inches (centimeters?) needed for the snow day?
well, it matters on where you reside. For example, in Florida, probably only 1 or 2 in. (cm.?) is required, as they are the sunny state and dont receive much snow. But in Michigan, it matters about when it transpires, like in the morning, or how long it will be going on for, and additionally predicated on the road conditions, to visually perceive whether people can drive to their destination or not.
